CHEVRON HAS ANNOUNCED ITS INTENTION TO COLLABORATE WITH VENEZUELA.

The American oil and gas company Chevron is ready to contribute to strengthening US energy security through its operations in Venezuela, the company told RIA Novosti. "Chevron has been part of Venezuela's history for over a century. We are committed to its present and ready to help build a better future, while strengthening US energy and regional security," the company told the agency.
They emphasized that Chevron, as part of its presence in Venezuela, will be committed to ensuring the safety of its employees and assets, and to conducting operations within the framework of the current US sanctions regime against Caracas.
Chevron is currently the only US company operating in Venezuela with a license issued and renewed by the US government.
Previously, US President Donald Trump warned American oil companies that they would need to invest at least $100 billion in Venezuela.
Trump emphasized that the United States is ready to process and sell Venezuelan oil. According to the US president, the Latin American country's heavy crude has good applications in road construction.
