CORSAIR INTRODUCES CSR PLASTIC CREDIT
A new, innovative and convenient way for everyone to become Plastic Neutral.

CSR is an ERC-20 digital receipt that proves that plastic waste has been removed from the environment, allowing both companies and individuals to offset any amount of plastic waste generated monthly, simply by acquiring and retiring the equivalent amount of CSR Plastic Credits.
What is Plastic Credit?
While many want to do their part in reducing their plastic waste, it can be difficult to find the best way to make the biggest difference. Corsair makes it a lot easier, for everyone. ,By creating an easy-to-use CSR Plastic Credit, Corsair now offers the tools for every individual and business to become certified Plastic Neutral.,Becoming Plastic Neutral means that for every single pound of plastic that is discarded as trash, an equal amount of plastic waste is recovered and removed from the environment. Corsair has solutions to enable everyone to achieve this goal, while also conveniently tracking their progress. The solution is the CSR Plastic Credit, a digital receipt that proves that plastic waste has been removed from the environment. At its simplest, for every pound of plastic waste Corsair removes from the environment, the company issues and releases 10 CSR Plastic Credits into circulation. ,The process and credits are stored and recorded using the open source Ethereum blockchain technology (ERC-20), in order to ensure maximum transparency and public accountability.,To be clear, until Corsair has recovered the appropriate amount of plastic waste from the environment, CSR Plastic Credit tokens are held in the corporate treasury wallet or in the locked wallets of mission contributors and cannot be transferred, staked or withdrawn.,Similar to Carbon Credits, each CSR Plastic Credit that is in open circulation or has been placed in the retirement vault, represents a fixed amount of plastic waste, which no longer pollutes the environment.,This allows both companies and individuals to offset any amount of plastic waste generated monthly, simply by acquiring and retiring the equivalent amount of CSR Plastic Credit.
How does Plastic Credit work?
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) defines a Plastic Credit as "a transferable unit that represents a specific amount of plastic that has been collected and potentially recycled from the environment." Corsair's CSR Plastic Credit does just that. Along with WWF, it is clear that, although not specifically the CSR Plastic Credit, various international organizations and companies, such as Unilever, Starbucks, PepsiCo, and Microsoft, are already supporting the Plastic Credit Revolution. While many small companies create tens or hundreds of pounds of plastic waste per month, large companies can generate tens or even hundreds of millions of pounds of plastic waste per month. ,However, the problem of plastic waste pollution is not only created by large companies, and the plastic discarded by each individual adds to a huge problem.,When we consider that the average person creates around 50 kilos of plastic waste each year, which amounts to 5,000 kilos over a person's lifetime, the damage to the environment is easy to see.,With the creation of an easy-to-use CSR Plastic Credit, Corsair now offers the tools for every private person and company to become completely Plastic Neutral.
CSR FEATURES
CSR is a digital receipt that proves that plastic waste has been removed from the environment. The CSR token is directly linked to the plastic waste removed from the environment, in other words, it is supported by the actual work of the plastic waste removed from the environment. Every time Corsair removes 1 kilo of plastic waste from our environment, 10 CSR plastic credits can be transferred into the open distribution (1 kg = 10 CSR plastic credits). CSR plastic credits are managed on the Ethereum blockchain as ERC-20 tokens, allowing full transparency and public accountability of the movement of each credit. Additionally, allowing each end user of the CSR plastic credit to start withdrawing the CSR as part of the process. Every kilo of plastic removed from the environment (often baled) must be accounted for and recorded on the blockchain, while the entire process must be audited by a leading international accounting firm. Corsair is following the guidelines generally set out in the recently announced Plastic Credits papers, by Verra and the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF).
CORSAIR GROUP INTERNATIONAL
Corsair Group is an international consortium of companies developing business-effective solutions to global environmental problems such as plastic waste, air pollution, water pollution and climate change.
Founded in Thailand and the Netherlands in 2020, with global headquarters in Bangkok and European headquarters in Amsterdam, Corsair Group (at the time of publication) employs approximately 100 people. The company focuses on coordinating, developing and financing sustainable and environmentally relevant businesses and projects.
Its goal is to create and build corporate partnerships with technical and financial companies, operators/government institutions worldwide.
CORSAIR PROVIDES A SOLUTION TO POLLUTION
The solution to the plastic waste crisis is the culmination of several timely factors.
Plastic is made from crude oil. Using a chemical recycling process called pyrolysis, Corsair can turn plastic waste, such as used plastic bags, packaging materials, and packaging products, from its existing solid state into its original liquid form, oil, commonly referred to as advanced bio-oil or pyrolysis oil.
This oil, produced from plastic waste, is similar in nature to crude oil: it has a very low sulfur content and can be further processed into new plastics or optionally used to produce commercial fuel products, such as diesel, gasoline and kerosene.
Corsair owns and operates a 10,000 square meter chemical recycling facility in Bangkok, Thailand, which it has been upgrading and developing to international operating standards since August 2020. The facility has an existing recycling capacity of approximately 360,000 kilos of plastic waste per month (at the time of this whitepaper publication), which will be expanded to 1.2 million kilos per month in 2022 and 2.5 million kilos per month by 2023.
The expansion process includes the renovation of the current production facility of approximately 10,000 square meters and the construction of a brand new production area of an additional 10,000 square meters.
INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Corsair has a remarkable vision of scaling up various operational projects across the planet in a meteoric attack on environmental issues.
Great attention has been paid to early pilot projects and initial expansion activities to ensure that a reliable and repeatable process-based plan is first prepared and, equally importantly, executed leading to full operational status.
TARGET 2030
Corsair Group aims to expand its global plastic waste chemical recycling operations to recycle 1.5 billion kilograms of plastic waste annually, while producing 1 billion liters of Advanced Bio-oil annually, starting in 2030. Once that goal is achieved in 2030, the company has the potential to expand recycling capacity to 3 billion kilograms annually for another 5 years, by 2035.
